The good king took off his coat and hood to free his arm (добрый король снял свою куртку и капюшон, чтобы освободить руку; coat — пиджак, куртка, пальто и т. п. /верхняя, особ. мужская, одежда/; free — свободный, вольный, независимый; to free — освобождать). Then he hit Robin so hard that he fell to the ground (после чего он ударил Робина так сильно, что тот упал на землю).

«You are strong, Sir Abbot (ты силен, господин аббат),» Robin laughed. «Can you shoot well too (можешь ли ты и хорошо стрелять)?»
