"How do we know he's in there?" he asked.

"From last week when we were looking for him. Some guys in narcs were working something in there and got a line on him squatting all the way up on the thirteenth floor.

"We're going to go in big. Four teams from patrol, me and the narcs. We start at the bottom and work our way up."

- Когда?

- Мы сейчас готовимся пойти на перекличку, объяснить там все и ехать. Тебя ждать не будем. Надо взять этого типа, пока он никуда не исчез.

У Босха мелькнула мысль, обоснованна ли торопливость Эдгара, или напарник просто сводит с ним счеты за то, что он в ходе расследования несколько раз оставлял его в стороне.

- Понятно, - произнес Босх. - Берешь рацию?

- Да, мы будем пользоваться вторым каналом.
