То есть потрачено бревен было больше, чем подготовлено!

Канаду и раньше рассматривали как поставщика корабельного и рангоутного леса, однако останавливала гораздо большая конечная стоимость: если балтийский лоад обходился Адмиралтейству в 3 фунта 5 шиллингов, то канадский — в 7 фунтов 10 шиллингов.
